Our first sober event... but not really. We opened the night with a special live set by MADELINE. The Clive Davis Institute prodigy layered raspy vocals with airy harmonies while banging out hard-hitting electronic and hip hop drum samples. Jack Laboz wooed the room with his good looks, charm, dance moves, and of course the grooviest fusions of hip hop, r&b, and electronic music. ANDRAViDA threw down his first live set, seamlessly dancing between the worlds of hip hop, soul, jazz, and EDM. Then came along Mr. Rob. Or was it Sober Rob? Whoever it was greeted hundreds of friends with soul-piercing avant-garde electronic jams while tossing the sauce with masterful viola.
